Florida Road Map

As I was planning my upcoming road trip, I stumbled upon this amazing Florida road map that I just had to share with you all! Not only does it give a great overview of the state's highways and scenic byways, but it also includes helpful information on must-see attractions, historical landmarks, and delicious dining options. Before hitting the road, I highly recommend taking some time to explore Florida's vibrant cities, such as Miami, Orlando, and Tampa. Miami is known for its stunning beaches, world-class museums, and lively nightlife scene. Orlando, of course, is home to Disney World and other iconic theme parks, but also boasts beautiful natural parks and gardens. Tampa has a rich history and cultural scene, with numerous museums and galleries to explore. Once you've had your fill of city life, it's time to hit the open road and explore Florida's natural beauty. One of my favorite scenic drives is the Florida Keys Overseas Highway, which stretches for 113 miles from Key Largo to Key West. Along the way, you'll cross 42 bridges and take in breathtaking views of the turquoise waters and colorful sunsets. Another must-see attraction is the Everglades National Park, which is the largest subtropical wilderness reserve in the United States. The park is home to a vast array of wildlife, including alligators, panthers, and over 350 species of birds. Don't miss the opportunity to take a thrilling airboat tour through the swamplands, or a peaceful kayak ride through the mangrove tunnels. For a dose of history and culture, I highly recommend visiting St. Augustine, the oldest continuously inhabited city in the United States. From the Spanish colonial architecture to the historic forts and museums, there's plenty to explore and learn about the city's rich past. And of course, no visit to Florida would be complete without a trip to the Kennedy Space Center, where you can see historic rockets and experience simulated space missions. When it comes to dining, Florida has no shortage of delicious options. Seafood lovers must try the famous stone crabs in Miami, while barbecue enthusiasts should head to Tampa for some mouth-watering ribs. And for a taste of Old Florida, the historic Columbia restaurant in St. Augustine serves up delicious Spanish and Cuban cuisine in a stunningly beautiful setting. No matter where your Florida road trip takes you, this road map is a valuable resource for planning your journey and making the most of your time in the Sunshine State. So pack your bags, hit the road, and get ready for an unforgettable adventure! Florida Road Map – The Dangerous History Podcast
